Department of Microbiology functions as a teaching as well as a diagnostic department in the college and hospital respectively.
Teaching is being done for undergraduate courses like MBBS, BDS, BPT,Nursing and for Post graduate students of Microbiology, Pathology,Biochemistry , Community Medicine, MDS Diagnostic work like reporting on patient’s sample ,discussion about cases with clinicians and Root cause analysis of Hospital acquired infections with the primary consultants is being carried out routinely.
