Dr. Ranjith Viswanath is an alumnus of Sree Gokulam Medical College, Kerala (MBBS) and Christian Medical College, Vellore (MD Community Medicine), with hands-on field experience in clinical care, community health, and research.
He has worked on research projects focusing on Post-COVID care and GIS mapping of non-communicable diseases, and leads multiple projects.
His previous roles include working as a Research Scientist at ICMR-NCDIR in Cancer Epidemiology and as a Junior Consultant at Bangalore Baptist Hospital, providing primary care in peripheral clinics catering to underserved populations.
His areas of interest include urban and rural health system strengthening, non-communicable disease surveillance, cancer epidemiology, falls prevention among the elderly, and application of GIS in public health.
