Dr. R. Nikitha is a dedicated physician specializing in General Medicine with a strong academic and research background. She completed her MD in General Medicine from Shri B.M. Patil Medical College and Research Centre, Vijayapura, Karnataka (2020–2023), after earning her MBBS from Sapthagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (2013–2019). Dr. Nikitha has demonstrated consistent commitment to clinical excellence, medical research, and academic development, has actively participated in national and international conferences, including Scientex Global Webinar 2024, Best of ADA India 2025,. She has also served as a speaker at the Annual Ramaiah AMR Symposium 2025. Dr. Nikitha has presented research work at major conferences and received recognition for her poster and paper presentations. Her research interests include metabolic disorders, inflammatory markers, and their clinical correlations in chronic diseases. She has published peer-reviewed articles in reputed journals such as the Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research and the D Y Patil Journal of Health Sciences. She is currently leading a seed-grant funded research project evaluating the Adrenomedullin–Procalcitonin ratio as a prognostic marker in patients with sepsis. Dr. Nikitha is passionate about teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students and contributing to impactful clinical research.
