Dr. Vijayadas obtained his MBBS degree from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore, in 2001 and his postgraduate degree in Physiology from the same institution in 2008. He has been serving as a faculty member in the Department of Physiology since 2008.

He has published 21 full-length indexed research papers in various national and international journals. He has delivered several invited lectures on diverse topics and has also organized multiple guest lectures.

In recognition of his academic excellence and professional achievements, he was awarded Membership of the National Academy of Medical Sciences in 2020.

He completed the Advanced Course in Medical Education in 2016 and has a keen interest in innovations in medical education and mentoring. He has served as a Co-Investigator for various research projects funded by ICMR and RGUHS. His research interests include Neurophysiology, Music Therapy, Diabetes, Yoga, and Meditation.
