I Dr. Shanthakumar Shivalingappa graduated from a Govt. Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli, Specialized in General Surgery from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli and M.Ch Plastic Surgery from Chennai. Having 17 years of experience in different fields of Plastic Surgery. Special field of interests are Microvascular reconstruction, diabetic foot, fascio-maxillary reconstruction, trauma, burns and cosmetic surgeries. Special interest in craniofacial and Microvascular surgery. Presented papers in national and state conferences. Had graduated in hospital and health management course (PGDHHM) and had done both basic and advanced course in “International Trauma Life Support”(ITLS) and has been faculty for the ITLS course . Conducted and coordinated many course hands on workshops. Doing research in: “Production Of Interface For Wound Modulation” as a co-investigator. Also National faculty for M.Ch PG teaching programs.
