I received undergraduate degree in 2009 from one of the reputed institutions of Bengaluru, Vydehi Institute of Medical sciences and research Centre and completed postgraduation in Forensic Medicine from our own well-regarded institution, Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru in 2013. My areas of interest is Forensic Pathology and Clinical Forensic Medicine, especially in relation to Sexual Violence. I was heading the “Centre for Sexual Assault Crisis” in my previous workplace Kasturba Medical College, Manipal and have worked for the betterment of procedures related to victim examination. With respect to the same, I have delivered guest lectures at schools, pre university colleges, medical institutions, IMA bodies and police personnel. I have also presented scientific papers, posters and chaired academic sessions at various conferences. I have a keen interest in research and published over 20 articles in national and international journals. I am an active member in the Forensic community and member of Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine, South India Medico-Legal Association and Karnataka Medicolegal society.
