Support of students and their Learning

Students enrolled on the program will be notified on various matters relating to the course. New students will be briefed on programme matters, attendance policy, assessment on the different modules, re-assessment policy, appeal procedure, institution's policy on plagiarism, academic dishonesty and professional conduct.

An induction programme provide background information regarding key services such as library, computing, enrolment; making the transition from undergraduate to postgraduate education; for example writing and presenting at Masters level; student representations etc.

Each student will be given a copy of the Student Handbook.

Student support is offered within the Gokula Education Foundation Medical, by the Course Team and Dissertation Supervisors.

Student Welfare advice and support

The student welfare services will provide impartial confidential and professional guidance for the students. This will be provided by trained and dedicated staff who can offer specialist advice and support to meet the individual's specific needs. The students will be offered a free medical insurance on enrolment and can access the Health Benefit Scheme .

Reasonable adjustments can be made to the teaching, learning, assessment and support of the courses to maximize accessibility to students with disabilities. Students may discuss their needs with the Program Manager, and module leader.

Support Supervisors are assigned at the beginning of the course and are an additional means of support to students on the course.
