M.S. Ramaiah hospital made Pranic Healing available to the general public in the year 2000 by starting the out-patient unit. It was the first system entered as an adjuvant therapy in M.S. Ramaiah Hospital. In 2004, Gokula Ayush Arogyadhama, an exclusive alternative therapy unit, was established with Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Yoga along with Pranic Healing.

Pranic Healing involves transference of prana or vital energy from the environment, specifically air, sun and earth, to the patients. Supplementing the energy body with pranic energy will increase the inner healing power of the patient, which in turn accelerates the speed of recovery. This process involves healing, meditation, lifestyle change, physical and breathing exercises.

Pranic Healing does not interfere with any other ongoing system of treatment. The Pranic Healing Department is involved in research activities along with healing the patients.

Title of the case study is no more than 15 words, centered and in 16pt font.

Section/sub-titles are sequential, and in bold 14pt font
Leave one empty line before and after each section/sub-title
Line spacing throughout the abstract is single-spaced (no double spacing please)
The content is justified and with 2.5 inch margin on both sides
Keywords are indicated after the case study
All text is in 12pt font except sub-titles
Author(s) affiliation, address and email is provided at the bottom of the page in 10pt font
Figures, tables and charts, if necessary, are included within the body of the text
Figures, text or tables are not coloured or shaded
All text is justified
No space is left at the beginning of the sentence of a new paragraph
